Everything is "B"

Beautiful baby girl. Getting more and more talkative everyday. This week, everything became "B." Whatever she pointed at. Whatever she wanted. She called it "B." Talking into a piece of bread or a french fry as a phone. Yes. Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring FRENCH FRY PHONE! Apparently, there was someone important on the other end that she had to talk to about about "B". Cutie pie.

Oma and Grandpa Woods came over the other day. Baby girl was ever so happy to see them. Seeing them play together stirs old fragments of memories from when I was little, and I try to remember what really happened as opposed to how I perceived it at the time. And then I think: it doesn't really matter -- I was happy.

Like, this happy:

Doesn't get much better than being little and gettin' around in a cardboard box.

She loves her books. Tonight, she grabbed an issue of Wonder Time magazine, got into that same cardboard box and started flipping pages. Once she realized it was upside down and corrected it, she started reading out loud. But sometimes, it's just nice to kick back and watch some toons:

I know she'll always be our little girl, but she's getting bigger every day. Just a few more months, and we can start measuring age in years. *sigh* fastfastfast time flyin by.

In the meantime, she's still making fun little faces like this:

Well, one year into this parenting gig, and I'm loving it. Sentimental and just so happy to have such a wonderful little girl in my life. New to this whole blogging thing, but we're gonna give it a shot. For her first year, I took a picture of Molly every Wednesday. Now, with 52 pics, I thought it'd be nice to do someting with them. ... Here it is:

Today, we had a wonderful party for her. Cake and folks and all. Through all of the madness and the chaos, she kept cool. Just checking everything out. Taking it all in. She was so happy today.

Fun new toys:

There was the cake that Jeni made. We were all so proud of that cake and all of its Giant Panda-y goodness. Dots and dots and dots and dots and dots. Tasty tasty tasty little dots.
And, of course, Molly loves her some chocolate cake and lets me know it!!!
Looking forward to so much more awesomeness with the little sweetie.
